The Oxi Fresh Process
How exactly will we achieve these results? What’s our process? Here’s an overview of what you can expect once you book a Ken Caryl tile and grout cleaning.
Step 1: Inspection
First, we’ll start the appointment by doing a full examination of your tile and grout. We’re looking for spots that might have heavy soiling or be damaged. Once done, we’ll discuss our findings with you and whether anything might impact our results.
Step 2: Pre-Clean
Next, we’ll vacuum your tiles and grout. We do this to remove any debris on the surface. Our process uses agitation, so loose debris could act as an abrasive.
Step 3: Core Cleaner
Then, we will apply the Oxi Stone Cleaner. This solution works to break down the dirt, oils, and other soiling materials that have formed a film on the tile and grout.
Step 4: Clean-Up
We will then use the OF2000 or OF1000 (depending on the size of the room) to agitate the tile and grout. By doing this, we further the cleaning process started by the Oxi Stone Cleaner.
Step 5: Extraction
Finally, we will then use our equipment to extract the dirt and oils we’ve broken up as well as the product we’ve used. Once we finish, it should look like we’ve erased years from your tile and gout.
Also, during the overall cleaning process, if we encounter grout lines that are heavily stained, we’ll use the Oxi Restore process. This method is specifically tailored to remove tough grout stains.
Step 6: Protectant (Optional)
If you want to protect the investment you put into having your tile and grout professionally cleaned, you have the option of adding our grout protectant. The product will help keep the porous material of the grout from absorbing future spills and spots.
