Conserving Water

Although fresh water is one of the most precious commodities on earth, it is often wasted right here in our country. Steam cleaners, for example, require 40 or more gallons of water in order to clean a home. At Oxi Fresh, conserving water is one of our highest priorities. Compared to steam cleaners, our eco-friendly carpet cleaning can clean the same home using only 2 gallons of water.

For an average house, our green carpet cleaners use only 5% of the water a typical steam cleaner uses. That means for every hundred homes cleaned, Oxi Fresh will be saving water. We will use 200 gallons of water or less, while other systems will use up to 4,000 gallons. That’s twenty times what green carpet cleaning uses – a perfect example of  water conservation in action!

What’s more, the dirty water they extract from your carpet, which is only about half of what they put in, is usually considered “waste water,” and it’s simply discarded. However, Oxi Fresh and our environmentally friendly carpet cleaning seek to conserve water through our low moisture system. Our water saving methods benefit your home and the environment!
