Our Proven, Gentle Process
When you get a traditional hardwood cleaning, you can expect to deal with a loud sander, annoying wood dust, and the sharp smell of varnish. If you’re unlucky, you may even have to deal with it for up to five days! Oxi Fresh’s Seattle hardwood floor cleanings are different. Here’s what you can expect from us instead:
Step 1 – Our first step is a walkthrough of your space to identify any especially dull, dirtied areas. Your technician will give these spots extra attention to ensure they receive the help they need.
Step 2 – Next, we vacuum your wood to pull up any loose, insoluble particles. Left alone, these may cause abrasions on your floor during the cleaning.
Step 3 – Your technician will then pull out the OF2000, our Oxi Fresh hardwood cleaning machine, and our pretreatment application. Our OF2000 uses an advanced trio of application, agitation, and extraction processes to help our pretreatment dissolve stubborn dirt and oils.
Step 4 – The OF2000 gets used once again, this time to apply our core cleaning solution. Using the same trio of processes, our machine will finish off the last of your floors’ dirt and grime.
Step 5 (Optional) – Our fifth step is optional, but is recommended for those who want to offer preventative care to their hardwood. Our Oxi Floor Refinisher will help provide extra protection against dirt and oils, and it will also leave your floors with a temporary, semi-gloss finish.
Curious about how our Seattle hardwood floor cleanings can simplify your life? Reach out to our team today at 206-886-3595 to ask questions or set up an appointment. We’re happy to assist you!
Why Choose Oxi Fresh?
Respect for Your Time – While we all love a cleaner home, none of us love waiting around for hours for a technician to show up to a vague window appointment. Because we understand the importance of your time, we designed our appointment process that lets you pick the specific time you want your technician there. No more waiting around and wondering!
No Sanding Needed – Traditional refinishing can cause wood dust to be stirred up throughout your home, leaving you with wood dust lurking in corners for months. Oxi Fresh’s process requires no sanding, meaning you have one less thing to worry about when we’re done!
Faster Cleanings – Our no-sanding process enables us to move quickly. Refinishers take, on average, two to five days to clean your home’s floors. In comparison, we’re typically out in one day or less!
Acrylic Wax Removal – Cleaning products from the store are typically cheap and simple to pick up, but they can end up doing more damage than good. Why do we say that? Unfortunately, many of these products use acrylic waxes. While these waxes help the product leave behind a lovely shine at first, they quickly seal dirt and oils onto your floors, eventually resulting in dull hardwood. The only way to get the shine back is to apply more of the product or to have the waxes removed and the floor cleaned.
Fortunately, Oxi Fresh offers a service to help homeowners remove the waxes from their floors. If this sounds like something you might need, chat with your technician at your appointment. They’ll be able to identify if this is the right service for you!
