When you book a hardwood floor cleaning with Oxi Fresh, here’s the cleaning process we’ll use:
Step 1: We begin our cleaning process by carefully inspecting your flooring. We want to have a good understanding of the flooring so we can best serve you.
Step 2: Next, we thoroughly vacuum your flooring. We’re making sure the boards are free from insoluble debris.
Step 3: After vacuuming, we begin our main cleaning process by using our OF2000. This hardwood floor cleaning machine is able to apply our cleaning solutions, agitate your floors, and then remove the broken down dirt and grime particles. We’ll first use it to apply our pretreatment solution to the floor.
Step 4: Next, we’ll use the OF2000 to apply our followup cleaning solution. These two products will leave the floor free from the clinging grime that was spoiling the look of your floors.
Optional Step 5: Once your floor is clean, we can also treat it with our Oxi Floor Refinisher. This will provide a semi-gloss finish for the floor; it’s a great addition.
Removal of Acrylic Wax
Often, DIY floor cleaners contain acrylic waxes which add a sheen to your flooring. This temporary finish looks appealing, but unfortunately fades leading you to need to apply more of the same product to achieve the same look.
What you may not realize is that these layers of wax do not disappear with time, and instead build upon each other and must be removed before your floor can be cleaned properly.
