How We Clean for You
Sandings and varnishing is time consuming, expensive, and really should be considered the absolute final option to resurrect a floor that can’t otherwise be saved. Oxi Fresh’s Fort Collins hardwood floor cleanings can save most floors, though, thanks to our cleaning equipment and specialized solutions that are tough on dirt and grime.
What goes into a cleaning, though? Let us explain our five-step cleaning procedure:
Step 1 – First, we inspect your hardwood flooring, checking for damage or extreme buildups of dirt and grime that may impact our cleaning process. Afterwards, we discuss our findings with you.
Step 2 – We vacuum your hardwood floors, removing any loose dirt or debris. If left alone, this debris could scratch the floor during the cleaning process, which is the last thing we want.
Step 3 – Then, we use our hardwood floor cleaning machine – the OF2000 – and our specialized cleaning products for the treatment process. The OF2000 combines application, agitation, and extraction, allowing us to treat the floors with our pretreatment solution without putting the wooden boards at risk of overexposure to water.
Step 4 – The OF2000 sees a second act in the cleaning process, now being used to apply, agitate, and then extract our followup cleaning solution. The floors should now be lovely and clean!
Step 5 (Optional) – Once your Fort Collins hardwood floor cleaning is done, ask your technician about our amazing Oxi Floor Refinisher! This extra service adds a nice, semi-gloss finish on your clean hardwood floors.
