How We Get Hardwood Clean

Step 1: Examine the Floors
We begin by inspecting the floor. The technician will identify which areas are more heavily soiled. This allows us to focus our efforts.

Step 2: Pre-Clean the Surface
The next step involves vacuuming the floor. This step is necessary because it removes debris that could become abrasive during the other cleaning stages.

Step 3: Pretreatment
Your technician will then apply a pretreatment to the floor. This professional-grade product breaks up the oils and dirt on the floor, making the process more efficient.

We’ll use our cleaning machine, the OF2000 to both apply this product and agitate the floors at the same time. As the machine passes over the wood, it will also extract the now spent solution and broken-down debris.

Step 4: Primary Cleaning
We’ll then apply the core solution onto the floor to finish up the cleaning process. As before, the OF2000 will apply the solution, agitate the floor, and extract it. This helps protect the wood from being overexposed to water or other liquids.

After this, your floors should look lovely once more.

Step 5: Optional Add-On
At this point, we can also apply the Oxi Floor Refinisher. This urethane coating will help protect the results of your professional cleaning and give it a nice semi-gloss finish.
