The young man who came to my home was very polite and nice. He explained right off that due to the age of the carpet and oldness it would not clean-up and look like new. I figured as much as the carpet is a cheap brand used by most contractors to built spec homes. Anyway, the young man started by spray a substance on the carpet that made the house smell wonderful. When started cleaning, he used some type scrubbing machine. I requested he do the tile floors and wood floors along with the carpet. When he finished, he apologized that the carpets did not look cleaner. He started to explain, but I cut him short and told him I never expected the floors to come out looking new. Being 77 years of age and living in this home for 15+ years I was absolutely tickled pink with how well the carpets cleaned up. I have had the carpets cleaned a couple of times with the steam cleaner system and it didn't hold a chance against how the carpets looked with this cleaning (much cleaner now). As far as the tile floors, I did not think the grout would look very much better, but it actually looks new again. I had so much mop and glo on the wood floors and thought they would never look right again. Once again I was wrong. The wood floors looked very clean. I am very thankful to they young man. I think his name was Matt, but in my older ages have already forgotten. "Thank you very much", who ever you are. Also, I will only use Oxi Clean for all my future cleanings, which I hope are many.
