We first use our OF2000 to apply our pretreatment solution. This cleaning formula attacks layers of debris and grime powerfully. We then follow up with our main cleaning formula, which further breaks down and attacks dirt particles. OPTIONAL Step 4
After our process has concluded we can add an extra layer of protection to your flooring. If you choose this option, we’ll add our Oxi Floor Refinisher to your flooring. This cleaning formula provides a urethane-coated barrier of protection for your hardwood floors from future spills or stains, while also providing a semi-gloss finish.
Removal of Acrylic Wax
Often, DIY floor cleaning products contain acrylic waxes which add a sheen coating to your flooring. This finish will fade with time though, leading you to apply more of the same product to get the same results. What you may not realize is that while the finish fades, the layers of wax you are adding to your flooring will remain. These layers build upon each other until finally they must be removed for your flooring to be cleaned properly.
