We were told that you could clean our four area rugs. The young man who came to service us was very nice and started the job on the 5’ x 6’ area rug next to our front. It was synthetic silk and wool. He was half way done when he told us that his boss said they were not supposed to do silk rugs. This was a surprise to us since we asked the booking agent whether you did silk rugs and how you did them. She said they would explain it to us when they came to clean.
In any event, the young man pulled off the front door rug and skipped the other two. Thank goodness, as we have pictures of the front area rug and will be glad to send them to you so perhaps you can tell us what to do to save the rug.
