How We’ll Rescue Your Home’s Furniture

It’s normal to not think much about upholstery cleaning (that’s our job), so you might not know how it’s done. Well, we’re more than happy to break down our The Woodlands upholstery cleaning process. That way, you know exactly what will be happening in your home and how Oxi Fresh is revitalizing your furniture.

Step 1 – Each cleaning starts with a careful examination of the upholstery. We’re looking for areas of heavy soiling or damages that might affect how we’ll clean the furniture. Once we’ve examined the piece, review what we’ve learned with you to give you an idea of what to expect from the cleaning.

Step 2 – Once we finish the inspection, we’ll prepare and apply a pretreatment to the most heavily soiled parts of the furniture. Those are usually places where someone’s arm or head would regularly rest. This solution uses enzymes to break down oils and grime that the upholstery fabric has absorbed.

Step 3 – After the pretreatment has done its work, we’ll then apply an encapsulating rinse to the entire piece. Following that, we’ll use the Oxi Pro Upholstery Cleaning Machine. It will rinse the piece and extract the broken-down dirt and oils.

Step 4 – Last but not least, we’ll groom the piece and set up fans to speed up the drying process.
