LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning recently opened a new location in Warwick, Rhode Island, allowing the World’s Greenest Carpet Cleaner® to serve the people of the Ocean State.
Heading up this location are John and Naomi Green, a pair of hard-working and innovative entrepreneurs. “Owning my own business has always been a lifelong dream of mine,” said John, “Naomi and I are excited to join the Oxi Fresh team.”
Before joining Oxi Fresh to open their Rhode Island carpet cleaning business, John served in the United States Navy. He worked as a Sonar Technician in the Submarine Service for fourteen years, during which time he met his wife. Unfortunately, John was also badly injured during his service.
While stationed in Connecticut, he suffered an injury while moving a 200 pound piece of equipment, causing an acute onset of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. This condition constricted both the blood flow and nerves to John’s left arm, and it took more than two years to receive treatment for the injury.
After his time with the Navy came to a close, the Greens took a franchise management course at Georgetown University thanks to the United Services Organization. After being introduced to the world of franchising and conducting extensive research, the couple was inspired to open their own franchise. They chose Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning.
“I have always wanted to be part of a company that is environmentally responsible, uses cutting-edge technology and believes that people should get paid a fair living wage,” said John Green.
Oxi Fresh has long set itself apart as an environmentally friendly carpet cleaner. The company’s low-moisture cleaning methodology reduces water consumption by 95% when compared to traditional cleaning methods. The company believes that this reduction in water use has allowed them to conserve an estimated 30 million gallons of water. In addition to this, the company employs safe cleaning solutions, one of which has the EPA’s Safer Choice label.
Besides the opening of a Rhode Island carpet cleaning location, Oxi Fresh has also made the news recently by earning spots both in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 and the Franchise Business Review’s 2017 Top Franchises Report. On the Franchise 500, Oxi Fresh was ranked in the #355 spot as well as being named #42 for Top Lost Cost Franchises and #56 for Top Home Based Franchises. Beyond that, the company also received its 100,000 online review on www.oxifresh.com, averaging 4.6 out of 5 stars.
“We’re confident that John will do an amazing job as our first Rhode Island franchisee,” said Oxi Fresh President Jonathan Barnett. “We’re looking forward to watching John and Naomi’s business grow.”
