How We Clean
Are you looking into getting your next Port Washington hardwood floor cleaning done, but you still have some reservations? Are you not looking forward to the inevitable sanding process that accompanies nearly every hardwood floor cleaning? Are you concerned about your home being coated in sawdust and debris?
Thankfully, when you book with Oxi Fresh, that is the last thing on your mind. Our efficient cleanings can erase dirt and debris fast without the need for harshly sanding your flooring. Instead, our cleanings can gently but effectively revitalize your hardwood today!
When you book with Oxi Fresh, here is what you can expect.
- First, we inspect your flooring, taking notice of areas of significant damage or soiling.
- Then we use our professional-grade equipment to vacuum your flooring, making sure we remove any debris that would otherwise hinder our cleaning process.
- Next, we use our OF2000 to add our pretreatment solution to attack layers of dirt and grime strongly, breaking down the film that has coated your floors.
- Then we follow up with our main floor cleaning product, which furthers this process and allows our OF2000 to remove these particles.
Optional Step 5
If you desire, after our process is finished we can add an additional layer of protection to your floors. If you choose this option, we will add our Oxi Floor Refinisher, which adds a urethane coating to your hardwood floor. This product protects your flooring from future harm and also provides a semi-gloss finish.
Removal of Acrylic Wax
Often, DIY floor cleaners contain acrylic waxes which add a sheen to your flooring that fades with time. The only way to get this finish back is to apply more of the same product, but you may not realize that these layers of wax you are adding to your flooring do not fade with time. Instead, they build upon each other until they must be removed in order for your flooring to be cleaned properly. Oxi Fresh can break down these layers of wax fast, allowing the natural beauty of your flooring to be on center stage.
