How We Clean Hardwood Floors
When you book a hardwood floor cleaning, you can rest assured that you are getting a high-quality service. That said, you probably want to know what exactly that service is. Let’s take a look:
Step 1
First, we’ll start by inspecting the hardwood floor that you want us to clean. We’ll be looking for areas with heavy soiling that might require extra attention from us.
Step 2
Next, we’ll vacuum the hardwood floor. We want to remove any debris on the surface that could act as an abrasive and damage the wood during the cleaning process.
Step 3
Next, we’ll treat the floor with a pretreatment, agitate the floors with a wood safe brush, and then extract the spent product and the dirt we’ve broken up. But we don’t do that all with different devices – our cleaning machine, the OF2000, can do all of that. It’s an amazing piece of cleaning technology.
Step 4
Once more turning to the OF2000, we clean the floors with our main cleaning solution, leaving it looking lovely.
Step 5 (Optional)
Once we’re done with our hardwood floor cleaning in West Houston, you’ll have the choice to select an additional service. Our Oxi Floor Refinisher can add a temporary urethane coating to the hardwood. This will give it a lovely semi-gloss finish.
