Booked the five room special for my 87 yo mom on October 2 that is listed for $158. Adding stairs and room freshener, the total came to $243. I had to reschedule because she fell, and I called back October 16 to reschedule and they said the price had gone up to $249 and I said fine. Then when Tanner showed at 9:30am 10/26, it had changed to $258 and I said fine. (We had called to ask about moving furniture and never got a return call.) When I met Tanner at the house he said the price was actually going to be $378 because one room was larger and they had no record in their call center on 10/16 of my asking for deodorizer in 3 rooms. Of course they didn’t because when I had to cancel from the 10/2 call, I simply said save all my info and I will reschedule as soon as my mom is okay. I called back in and told Nicole to listen to my 10/2 call and she will hear me asking for 3 rooms of deodorizer. She assured me she or someone would listen and call me back, which they never did. (Tanners boss said to charge me $375.) Keep in mind I had signed up for the $158 special and one room was larger and I needed three rooms deodorized. I also move 90% of the furniture myself. Tanner finally agreed that was wrong so he “only” charged me $303. This was a morning appointment, and we never heard back from anybody. We settled on $302 about double of what I was quoted and I even gave Tanner a cash tip because I felt sorry for him as he said it comes out of his pocket if they have to discount. I’ve used them many times for many years at many homes and referred them, but I’m not sure I would use them again with their new price-gouging tactics and poor customer service.
