Your company blew off my appointment. Did not call. I called twice to confirm the day of as well. No one called back, as promised by the dispatch personnel. Very poor customer service and unprofessional. I now have no appointment to clean my carpets after paying to have furniture moved for this etc. As a small business owner of 20 years, I understand that mistakes happen. Dodging calls and ignoring clients however is baffling. This experience was not only frustrating and rude, it cost me money as well. Poor form.

When I scheduled the appointment I mentioned that I have cats, and will the chemicals they use be safe for them. I was told yes, very safe. When the agent came to the house he asked if I had pets and he proceeded to tell me my carpets smell like cat urine, and if they were treated, they would smell worse. First of all, I have never had my cats pee outside their boxes, and there was no smell. Secondly, why wasn’t I told this when I made the appointment and I said I have cats! He didnt give me an answer. But he did go on to explain to me what ‘padding is! Im older than he is and I was offended that he assumed I didn’t understand what was under my carpet! I asked him to point out exactly where he smelled this urine and he randomly pointed to a spot on my dining room floor. It’s the least used room in my house by the way. My cats are always with us in the family room. But I put my nose to it and on my knees I sniffed around and there was absolutely no smell really of any kind. He said I was just so used to the smell that I don’t notice it anymore! That’s like saying I live in a dirty toilet bowl if I can’t even smell urine anymore! I have had my carpets professionally cleaned and they always smell fresher afterward, like they should! I told the man he just wasted his time and that he should leave. Then he said maybe there was something he could do after all. He had a freshener he could use for $35.00 per room! I said, ‘Good bye’. It made me think about their company coupon I’d be using and by adding that freshener I would’ve been paying full price! Nice gimmick, but my advice is, don’t insult and then scam your customers. My friends and family couldn’t believe what he said. And I trust them to be honest with me. Not so for your company. I’ll remember OXI Fresh, not for cleaning my carpet, but by their lack of integrity.
