Step 1

We will begin by inspecting the hardwood floor that you want us to clean. We will look for areas of the floor that have the thickest build-up of dirt, oil, and grime. 

Step 2

Vacuuming the hardwood is done for two important reasons. First, we want to remove anything our core cleaning solutions won’t break down. Second, we want to make sure no grit or debris becomes abrasive to your floor. 

Step 3

Pretreatment begins when we apply an enzyme-powered solution to the thickest layers of dirt and oil. These enzymes break up dirt layers without harming your floor. 

Step 4

Our core cleaning solution and the OF2000, a revolutionary cleaning machine, are used on your hardwood. 

Step 5 (Optional)

Once we are finished cleaning, we can then apply a protectant to the floor if you’ve ordered it. We use a semi-gloss temporary urethane coating that will last for months.

I liked that the person cleaning the carpets at our house, sent pictures showing stains that needed attention but was told it would cost $25 per room, at that time. We also asked to see pictures after the cleaning and they were sent to us showing how clean they now were. Also, the person cleaning communicated with me during the day to let me know when he arrived and when he left. I also liked the fact that the cleaner that was used was organic and safe for children and pets. I was not happy about being told the upstairs hallway was not included in the price quoted. When I scheduled the service, I told the person on the phone that our house had carpet in the three bedrooms, the stairway, the landing upstairs and the hallway between the two bedrooms upstairs. I did forget to tell them about the carpet in the downstairs bedroom closet which was added to the bill. I totally agreed with this. They then called me and told me there was no landing but there was a hallway. I told the person scheduling about the hallway, but apparently, they didn't write it down. The hallway is very short and narrow, so I don't know why they would not have used the price quoted for the landing to cover the short hallway. Instead they increased the cost. It also was increased due to the stains discovered. I wish I was told by the person I scheduled the cleaning with that if there were stains discovered, it would cost $25 more per room!!! I told the person who scheduled this service that the house is empty and no one would be there. When the technician arrived, I received a call from the owner of the cleaning company saying the bill needed to be paid before they did the service due to no one being there. This was fine but, I wish this was told prior to the cleaning date so I could have had this ready in advance. There needs to be more communication to the client as to what the expectations are prior to the time of the service. Especially if they are not able to send an invoice to be paid and about the extra cost for any stains that are discovered. AP. - Batavia, IL - 05/18/2025
