No water used!!! No harsh chemicals!!! All safe for pets and humans, (even though I do not have pets). My carpet is 35 yrs old and has had excellent care all those years!! If it was not for the Berber carpet that it is it would have never held up like it has. So all in all I need the utmost in care, cleaning and expertise to reinsure my satisfaction. It looks great!!
