Tasty Avocado Smoothie

Summer is a time for sweet treats and cool drinks. Now, you can always turn to the old reliable ice teas or popsicles, but why not try something different?

We’ve got a fantastic recipe for an avocado smoothie. It might sound a little strange, but its got a wonderful creamy taste with a nice hint of sweetness – plus it’s a lot healthier than ice cream!

What You’ll Need
Ice (8 Large Cubes)
Avocado (1 Ripe)
Vanilla Yogurt (1/2 Cup)
Honey (3 Tablespoons)
Milk (1 Cup)
(And a Blender)

Let’s Get Cooking!

Step 1
Peel, pit, and halve the avocado.

Step 2
Add all of the ingredients to the blender, putting your liquids in first.

Step 3
Blend the ingredients together. We find it’s helpful to pulse the mixture a few times to start breaking things up before you move to the higher blend speeds.

Step 4
Pour and enjoy! This recipe will make two tasty smoothies.
