As we all know, it has been an incredibly hot, dry summer across America – some states are even in the middle of severe droughts. We all need to do our best not to waste water, and there’s a great website right here with some wonderful conservation tips. Another thing you can do to both save water and keep your lawn healthy is to not water it during the day.
If you water your lawn during the day, you’ll be losing a significant amount of water due to evaporation. To avoid this, you should water your lawn in the early morning, between 4 and 9 A.M. You may also want to consider letting your lawn go dormant during these hot summer months.
