How We Clean Hardwood

In order to provide you with an effective hardwood floor cleaning, Oxi Fresh goes the extra mile. Here’s what your cleaning will look like:

Step 1
An inspection of the floor allows us to get a better understanding of the cleaning challenge we’re facing.

Step 2
Vacuuming the boards is an important step that comes next. This is necessary because it removes grit and debris that could become abrasive to the wood and won’t be broken down during cleaning.

Step 3
Next, we need to apply our pretreatment solution to the floor, but we don’t do that with a normal sprayer. Instead, we use our cleaning machine, the OF2000, to apply the product, agitate the floor, and then extract the solution. This efficient cleaning machine can work wonders.

Step 4
Next, using the OF2000 and our followup cleaning solution, we clean the floor again. This will leave you with a lovely, fresh looking floor.

Step 5 (Optional)
Once we finish with the cleaning, you have the option of having us add a nice, semi-gloss, urethane coating to your floor.
