Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning Earns Spot Among 150 Top Growth Franchises
Carpet Cleaning Company Ranks Among Top National and International Brands
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning was recently featured in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Growth Franchises ranking. The carpet cleaning franchise was ranked among 150 brands that all shared a history of sustainable growth over the past three years. Oxi Fresh came in at the 99th spot.
“Growth can be a tricky thing,” opined Kris Antolak, the carpet cleaning franchise’s vice president, “Obviously, a brand must grow. If it slows down too much, it ironically gets on the fast track to the business graveyard. But the pursuit of reckless growth can also cause significant damage. If you expand without considering how to support your system, a company can find themselves in a situation where they risk internal collapse.”
Mr. Antolak continued, “Thankfully, that’s not a problem for us. Our carpet cleaning franchise has balanced our strong growth with equally strong support systems. We’ve expanded to over four hundred locations since 2006 while also developing a business platform that includes everything from our centralized Scheduling Center to online training courses to a custom-built CRM platform. I feel that our approach to strong growth and thorough support was key to us earning a spot among the Top Growth Franchises.”
The ranking itself had specific criteria for consideration. Namely, from July 2016 to July 2019, brands must have grown by at least five units per year. If they meet that requirement, they were then subject to “a formula that considers their total positive U.S. and Canadian franchise growth over three years as well as factors that negatively affect growth, such as terminations, nonrenewals, and other closures.” Depending on what that formula returned, the brands either made the list or did not.
“We’re honored to have been recognized by the fine team at Entrepreneur for our efforts. Ranking in this listing is, on our minds, further proof that we’re doing the right things for our franchisees and our brand,” said Jonathan Barnett, the company’s founder and CEO. Mr. Barnett went on to credit not just the brand’s support systems, but also their carpet cleaning franchisees, saying, “They work incredibly hard to both satisfy customers and to develop their businesses. We have an amazing group of people.”
A contributing factor to the company’s growth is a cleaning system that stands in stark contrast to traditional steam cleaners. Where those systems require the saturation and subsequent extraction of the carpets, Oxi Fresh employs a low-moisture method. They apply a pair of eco-friendly carpet cleaning products, clean the carpets with a revolutionary machine, and then thoroughly vacuum and groom the floors.
“Once we finish our process, you’ll be amazed,” said Rob White, the company’s Director of Cleaning Systems, “An Oxi Fresh cleaning can easily erase heavily built-up dirt and grime, getting floors looking and feeling truly clean. Best of all, this process is low moisture. When an appointment is done, the carpets dry in about one hour. That certainly beats the 12-24 hour dry time you get with some steam cleaners.”
