Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning and Water.org: Making a Difference Around the World
Carpet Cleaning Franchise Company Helps More Than 22,000 People
LAKEWOOD, CO – The carpet cleaning franchise company, Oxi Fresh, has long prided itself on its strong growth, world-class cleaning results, and eco-friendly processes. Another point of pride for the brand is its long-term support of the non-profit Water.org. Since 2015, the company has been supporting Water.org’s mission, “to bring water and sanitation to the world” and “make it safe, accessible, and cost-effective.”
Oxi Fresh donates to Water.org whenever their customers book cleanings through the Online Scheduler on oxifresh.com. Since it first began this program in 2015, the company has donated over $190,000. These funds have been put to exceptionally good use by the non-profit; their decades of experience mean that “every dollar donated to Water.org helps unlock $13 for water and sanitation solutions for people living in poverty.”
Oxi Fresh’s support has, according to the non-profit, helped over 22,000 people in Africa, Asia, and Latin America get long-term access to safe water and sanitation. Through this access, families find their lives changed. They don’t need to fear the dangers of contaminated water and its many illnesses. Not having to pay high rates to water vendors or spend hours upon hours hauling water also means they can pursue economic opportunities and education.
“Through safe water and sanitation, lives change,” said Jonathan Barnett, Oxi Fresh’s founder and CEO, “We are honored to be supporters of Water.org and to have helped save and improve lives around the world. We look forward to continuing our support for years and years to come.”
The Power of Water
Even before they began supporting Water.org, water has always been important to Oxi Fresh. Unlike many traditional carpet cleaners, the carpet cleaning franchise company doesn’t employ a hot water extraction system. HWE, or “steam cleaning” as it is commonly known, uses an excessive amount of water to clean carpets, often 40-60 gallons for about six rooms of carpeting.
Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning, on the other hand, only requires about two gallons of water. The carpet cleaning franchise employs a low-moisture cleaning system, relying on a pile-lifting cleaning machine and powerful but eco-friendly carpet cleaning solutions. This results in high-quality cleanings and fast dry times that have earned the brand hundreds of thousands of positive reviews.
“When it comes to carpet cleaning franchises, you can’t beat what Oxi Fresh offers customers,” said Rob White, the Director of Cleaning Systems for Oxi Fresh, “We get results, we swap the 12-24 hour dry time of steam cleaners for a dry time of about an hour, and we’re eco-friendly. Plus, we give back to Water.org whenever people book with our Online Scheduler. It’s a win-win-win—clean carpets, less water waste, and better lives for people in need.”
Oxi Fresh’s donations were the subject of a recent article on the International Franchise Organization’s website. You can read more about Oxi Fresh’s carpet cleaning franchise offerings here or schedule an appointment for a carpet cleaning here.
