Design for the Environment
A few days ago, we shared with you how one of Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning‘s core cleaning products received the Design for the Environment Label from the Environmental Protection Agency. As we said before, this is quite an achievement, given the rigorous testing the EPA’s teams performed on the product. Of course, Oxi Fresh isn’t the only company with a cleaning product that has earned this label. There’s around 2,000 products out there with this label, which may seem like a lot – but it’s actually a very small selection of all the possible cleaning products available.
And, as a green carpet cleaning company, we recommend using those DfE products. Why? Well, obviously you want to protect your family by using products that have been thoroughly tested for any potential problems – whether the problem is the result of just one chemical, a negative synergy, or a hidden product, the EPA finds it and has the manufacturer fix it. Then there’s the environmental aspect, the major goal of the whole EPA process is to make sure it’s safe as possible for the environment. After all, it is the Design for the Environment Label. : )So here’s a link to the list of DfE approved consumer products and one to the industrial/institutional cleaners.
