If you’re looking for a fun and easy holiday cookie to make with the kids, try these Corn Flake Holly Wreaths. These easy-to-make, delicious treats are the perfect touch for your holiday cookie platter!
What You Need
– Corn Flakes – 5 cups
– Marshmallows – 4 cups
– Green Food Coloring – 2 Tsp
– Butter – 4 Tbsp
– Red Hots
– Step 1 –
Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
– Step 2 –
Add marshmallows and food coloring. Stir until smooth. You may need to add a few more drops of food coloring depending on how green you want your wreaths to be.
– Step 3 –
Remove from heat and add Corn Flakes to marshmallow mixture, stir until the flakes are completely coated.
– Step 4 –
Form small balls and place on wax or parchment paper. It helps if you dip the tips of your fingers in olive oil first so the mixture won’t stick to your hands.
– Step 5 –
Lightly push your thumb through the middle of the balls to form a wreath shape. Then stick a few red hots in for garnish. Serve room temperature.
