Warning Regarding Fraudulent Car Wrap Scam
We’ve been alerted to a scam being conducted by unknown third parties, in which the scammers are impersonating Oxi Fresh and its personnel, contacting consumers, and offering to pay the consumers for placing a car wrap or advertising on their vehicles. In particular, the scammers are running the website oxifreshcaradvert.com and oxifreshcarwrap.org to advertise this purported offer.
THIS SCAM AND THE ABOVE WEBSITES ARE NOT AUTHORIZED BY, AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH, OXI FRESH. WE DO NOT PAY INDIVIDUALS TO APPLY OUR CAR WRAPS OR OTHER ADVERTISING TO THEIR PRIVATE VEHICLES.
You should not respond to these solicitations, give the scammers any personal information, or pay any amounts to the scammers.
Oxi Fresh is not yet aware of the identity of the scammers involved in this situation, but is currently investigating the matter. Oxi Fresh has contacted the FTC and other government authorities to report this scam, and encourages anyone that is contacted about this scam to file a complaint with the FTC or any other law enforcement agencies.
