How We Clean Hardwood
If you’ve never had Oxi Fresh clean your hardwood you may be wondering what you can expect. This will offer you a guide on how your appointment may go.
Step 1
An inspection of the hardwood is the first step in the cleaning process. This allows the technician to locate areas that will require more attention so they can be focused on.
Step 2
We vacuum the floor, removing any grit or debris that wouldn’t be broken down by regular cleaning. This also prevents grit from scratching the hardwood.
Step 3
Next, using our special cleaning machine, we apply our pretreatment solution. As this machine applies the solution, it’s also scrubbing the wood with a wood-safe brush. As soon as the brush has broken up the dirt and grime, the machine also extracts the solution and the dirt.
This all-in-one machine helps protect your valuable floors from being in contact with water for too long.
Step 4
Our followup cleaning solution is now applied using the OF2000; like with the pretreatment, the machine will also agitate the top of the hardwood and extract the broken-down grime.
Step 5 (Optional)
Once our core treatment is finished, you can choose to have your floor treated with a semi-gloss urethane coating that will provide a nice sheen.
