How We Clean Hardwood

If you want a hardwood floor cleaning, but don’t know what to expect, this will give you an idea of how your appointment will go.

Step 1
An inspection of the floor is our first step, as we identify areas that need additional work. Your technician will also be able to give you an idea of what their cleaning will do for your floor at this point.

Step 2
The next step is to vacuum the entire floor. This removes grit and debris that won’t be broken down by cleaning, as well as could become abrasive to the boards of your floor.

Step 3
Now we apply pretreatment to the floor using the OF2000, our revolutionary cleaning machine. It both applies the solution and scrubs the floor with a wood-safe brush. It will then suck up the spent product – it’s an amazing machine!

Step 4
Using the OF2000 for a second time, we then apply (and agitate and extract) our follow-up cleaning solution. The floors should be lovely and clean now!

Step 5 (Optional)
Now that your floor is clean, we can take the next step and apply a nice, semi-gloss urethane coating to the floor. This looks great!
