Scheduling was easy, someone answered the phone when I called to ask a few questions as I was unfamiliar with the cleaning process. Tyler was very respectful of our property and home. He wore shoe covers whenever he was in the house.

The technician, although very friendly, didn't put his booties on right away, so there was salt tract in the house. But the thing I really was surprised at, was that he told me right off the bat that he would not be able to restore the rug to its original clean. He told me that it was not possible. I think I should have been informed of that before he arrived. And lastly, the area rug no longer lies flat. Apparently it was stretched with whatever was done.

I am submitting this as an update to a previous review-I've been meaning to do for a while. I gave a wonderful review the day or so after I got my hallway/stairs carpet and area rug cleaned last year over the holiday. The technician was pleasant, timely, and honest-he gave me a discount (which I pretty much gave back in a tip because initially thought it looked good) because he wasn't sure how my area rug would clean up. Initially the area rug looked a little brighter, which I was happy about, but it didn't take long for it to start to look dingy again. Here I am a year later, and have been debating a few months about replacing my rug because some of the pile is now matted and the rug looks even dingier (I know carpets will wear and eventually get dirty over time, but my area rug is less than 4 years old). After the service was done, and I closely inspected the stairs, I noticed that the crevices/edges didn't really get cleaned. My hallway carpet initially looked ok, but it seemed to have residue and a crunchy feel shortly after being "cleaned". It's been looking pretty dingy for a while now, too. I'm going to try a home steamer and see if that helps at all. I wouldn't recommend this method for cleaning your carpets.
