Allergen Control
No matter the season, it always seems like something can make our allergies flair up. Maybe it’s pollen, dust, or cat dander - when you’re sneezing you don’t particularly care, you just want it go away. Regular vacuuming and dusting can be a big help for allergen control, but, after a while, you’ll need a professional carpet cleaning. Why?
There are two reasons. The first is that carpets act like giant filters for allergens, catching them in the fibers and then releasing the allergens whenever it’s stepped on. For better allergen control, carpets need to be regularly cleaned so the trapped allergens can be effectively removed. Without this type of allergen control, your carpets slowly fill with dander, pollen, and dust.
The second reason you need an Oxi Fresh carpet cleaning for allergen control is dust mites. A lot of the stuffy noses and watering eyes can be traced to these little monsters and their waste. Our cleaning method uses an encapsulator that, while it’s main focus is on encapsulating dirt, doubles as allergen control. It captures the mites, killing them and allowing them to be pulled up and out of the carpet.
