O'Fallon, MO - Steam Cleaning
In the old days, you used to have to rely on traditional O’Fallon steam cleaning to get your carpets deep cleaned. Now, Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning is here to offer a superior alternative.
Old-fashioned steam cleaning can be incredibly inconvenient, leaving your floors drenched in water. You often have to wait 12-24 hours for the carpets to dry – longer if you’re particularly unlucky. If the steam cleaner fails to thoroughly extract water, it can even lead to a problem known as “wickback”.
Wickback is when you have a spot disappear during cleaning, but the staining materials are still in the water that was used to clean the carpet. If the water isn’t properly extracted, the staining material sinks deeper into the carpet. As the floor dries, the stain is pulled up the carpet fibers, like oil in a candle wick (hence wickback), and the spot reappears on top of the carpet.
It’s clear that O’Fallon steam cleaning is longer the way to go if you want your carpet cleaned well. Oxi Fresh uses a modern, low-moisture, quick-drying method. With powerful products and equipment, we can erase years of dirt while avoiding the problems of long dry times and wickback. In fact, our carpets dry in just about one hour!
So, say goodbye to having your dirty carpets saturated in water by a O’Fallon steam cleaner – that’s now a thing of the past. Instead, say hello to brighter, cleaner floors with Oxi Fresh

How We Clean Carpets
Oxi Fresh is proud to offer a superior alternative to O’Fallon steam cleaning. When you want your carpets cleaned and looking years younger, Oxi Fresh is who you can trust to achieve those results.
But what does our process actually look like? Here’s an overview of what to expect when you book an appointment with us:
Step 1
First, we will inspect the carpet that you want us to clean. We want to locate any areas with heavy soiling that might need additional attention.
Step 2
If we find any problem spots, we’ll apply a pretreatment. The pretreatment has enzymes in it that are tailored to break down tough deposits of dirt, oils, and grime.
Step 3
Next, we’ll use our core cleaner. This solution consists of two different products; the first, an oxygenated booster, breaks down dirt while the second, an encapsulator, traps the dirt in crystals.
Step 4
We’ll then use the OF1000, our revolutionary cleaning machine. It uses dual, counter-rotating brushes to reach deep into the carpet pile. The OF1000 will agitate dirt off the carpet fibers.
Step 5
Last, we will vacuum and groom your carpet to give it a professional finish.
