When you book a Ken Caryl hardwood floor cleaning, we’ll use a multi-step method specially designed to rescue your floors from oils and grime. Each step of this process was chosen in order to provide you with the quality results you deserve:
Step 1: Walk-Through
We inspect the entire floor, noting where the areas of the highest concern are. This helps us direct our efforts in the most efficient and effective way possible. Once done, we’ll discuss our findings with you. If we’ve found anything that might impact the final result, we’ll go over what you should expect from the appointment.
Step 2: Pre-Clean
The next step is to vacuum your hardwood floors. This step is vital as it removes debris that could cause damage to the floor during our cleaning process.
Step 3: Pretreatment
Once we’re finished with that, we’ll use the OF2000. This wood floor cleaning machine combines the application of our cleaning solutions, a wood-safe brush used to agitate the floors, and an extractor to pull up the broken-down dirt and product. By merging all these processes together, the OF2000 ensures both quality results and that the floors are never exposed to more water than is necessary.
We’ll first use the OF2000 to apply our pretreatment solution that will aggressively break up the soiling materials.
Step 4: Core Solution
After the pretreatment has done its job, we then treat the floors with our core cleaning solution. This wraps up the cleaning process and should leave your hardwood floors looking lovely.
Step 5: Refinisher (Optional)
In addition to cleaning, we offer a refinisher you can choose to have applied to your floor. The Oxi Floor Refinisher is a semi-gloss urethane coating designed to help keep your hardwood looking and feeling great.
