How the Process Works
Not every cleaning service is equal, and at Oxi Fresh we make sure that you know what you’re getting before we start. You may be wondering, will we be sanding down your floors? Will we create a larger mess cleaning your hardwood floors? The answer is no!
When you get our Evergreen hardwood floor cleaning services, we clean without sanding or varnishing. We deliver convenient and efficient results. You won’t have to worry about sawdust getting everywhere or the other problems that an intrusive treatment method brings.
Here’s what you can expect when you book an appointment with us.
Step 1: Examination
Our first step is to inspect your floor, identifying any areas of increased concern or heavy soiling. We do this to determine if there will be any spots that need extra attention. Once we’re done, we’ll discuss our findings with you and let you know how it’ll impact the final result.
Step 2: Pre-Clean
We will then vacuum your floor. This is an important step because debris can act as an abrasive on the hardwood floor during the other stages of cleaning. By removing it, we’re protecting your floors.
Step 3: Pretreatment
Your technician will then apply a pretreatment solution with the OF2000, our modern cleaning machine. This machine not only applies the solution that will break up the dirt and grime, it also agitates the floor with a wood-safe brush and extracts the dirt and oils from the floor.
Step 4: Final Treatment
After the pretreatment, the cleaner will then go over the floors again, applying our main cleaning solution. It will both further the cleaning process and neutralize any remaining product. As before, the OF2000 is used to apply the solution, agitate the floors, and extract the spent solution and broken-up dirt.
Step 5: Optional Add-On
Once your floor is cleaned, if you want, your technician will be able to apply a refinisher to your floor. This semi-gloss urethane coating will help protect your floors between cleanings.
