The Oxi Fresh Process
The Oxi Fresh cleaning method is what you want for your hardwood floors. Our process employs carefully controlled amounts of water, wood-safe brushes, and professional solutions to really knock the dirt and grime out.
Here’s what you can expect when you book Oxi Fresh for a Centennial hardwood floor cleaning:
Step 1: Careful Examination
To start, we’ll do a thorough inspection of your hardwood floors. At this stage, we’re looking for any problem areas that might need extra attention.
Step 2: Thorough Vacuuming
Next, your Centennial hardwood floor cleaner will vacuum your floors to remove any dirt. We don’t want any lingering debris acting like an abrasive when the cleaning process starts.
Step 3: Powerful Pretreatment
After that, we’ll use our hardwood cleaning machine, the OF2000, to apply a specialized pretreatment solution. The pretreatment stage helps to break down the dirt, grime, and debris that has been impacted into the pores of the wood. The machine will also agitate the floors and extract the spent solution and broken-up grime.
Step 4: Core Cleaning Solution
Once the pretreatment has worked its magic, we’ll use our cleaning machine to apply our core hardwood cleaning solution. As the machine applies the solution and agitates the wood, it further breaks up any remaining grime. The machine will also be extracting this grime and product after it’s done its work. By carefully controlling the amount of water used and how long it sits on the wood, we’re able to protect your floors.
Step 5: A Lovely Refinisher (Optional)
Depending on the type of service you select, we can also apply a floor refinisher solution. This is an additional service that gives your hardwood floor a protective urethane coating and a semi-gloss sheen.
