Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning Joins the International Facility Management Association to Promote Indoor Air Quality
Lakewood, CO (June 22, 2009) Recognizing the importance of indoor air quality on the health and productivity of building occupants, Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning®, a premier home-based franchising company, has joined the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). The IFMA is a community of facility management practitioners, consultants, educators, and product and service providers with over 19,500 members representing more than 65 countries.
The mission of the IFMA is to provide education, information and best practices in the field of facility management. Goals of the organization include the effective operation of work areas, the improvement of productivity and the safety of the work environment. Topics such as the effective use of energy and resources, and the improvement of indoor air quality are discussed within the organization membership.
“The philosophy of the IFMA fits the focus of our company,” said Jonathan Barnett, President of Oxi Fresh. “We use an innovative cleaning process that utilizes the power of oxygen to clean carpets rather than soap and toxic chemicals. Our cleaning process is so effective that less water is needed to clean a carpet. As a resource for facility managers, Oxi Fresh can help improve air quality since the process doesn’t add toxins or chemicals to the air. At the same time,” added Barnett, “we are removing odors, stains, dirt, dust mites, allergens and contaminants from the carpet.”
Oxi Fresh, headquartered in Lakewood, CO, has only been franchising since 2006 and already has over 100 units across the U.S. As the leader in non-toxic and effective carpet cleaning franchises, Oxi Fresh offers an affordable, home-based franchise opportunity to those interested in business ownership. With the benefit of a proven business model and name brand, franchisees serve both residential and business clients within their territory.
“Our association with the IFMA is important to us,” said Barnett, “especially because Oxi Fresh has been a ‘green’ company since our inception. By offering our product as a resource to facility managers, we can help them improve the air quality in buildings and therefore the health and productivity of employees. Our cleaning process uses less energy and water than other carpet cleaning systems, which preserve our valuable resources and save money.”

Carpet cleaning looks good but now my rooms smell like mildew and when I vacuum I smell the odors coming up from the carpet.
The cleaner supposedly pre treated both rooms before cleaning.
This smell is awful.
I will NOT be using oxifresh again nor will I reccomend them to anyone else.
I wasted 150 dollars.RG. - 04/29/2020
