Lakewood, Colorado (February 3, 2010) Jonathan Barnett MBA, President of Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning®, announced today that Oxi Fresh has again been recognized as one of the top franchise companies in the U.S. by Entrepreneur Magazine.
To be eligible for Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500® ranking, a franchise company must have a minimum of 10 units with at least one based in the U.S. Rankings are calculated based on a secret financial and statistical formula. This ranking is considered the best and most comprehensive franchise ranking system in the world. With over 2,500 franchise systems in the U.S., franchise companies ranked in the top 500 have prestige in the industry. Oxi Fresh attained a ranking of #391 for 2010.
“This is the second time we have been named in the Franchise 500® by Entrepreneur Magazine,” said Barnett, “which is particularly rewarding as we have only been franchising since 2006. To us that shows we are making the right decisions for our carpet cleaning franchise family and our support is helping them reach their goals as business owners.”
Since Oxi Fresh began franchising in 2006, they have opened 181 carpet cleaning franchises in 43 states. This exceptional growth rate impressed Entrepreneur’s judges enough to earn Oxi Fresh a #30 ranking in the Fastest Growing Franchises category, which is based on the number of new franchise units added in the U.S. and Canada from 2008 to 2009.
“We were also awarded a ranking in Entrepreneur’s Top 10 New Franchises for 2010 category,” added Barnett. “This is the second year in a row we have been named in that very select category, which is based on franchise companies that began franchising in the last five years.
As these recent rankings show, Oxi Fresh has the bones to both survive a recession and also to flourish during difficult times. “We offer our carpet cleaning franchises a low cost, home-based business with a wonderful opportunity for growth,” said Barnett. “We’re very gratified to say that our progress is right on track.”
Oxi Fresh provides a green carpet cleaning method using a low moisture process and non-toxic cleaning agents. Franchisees receive a protected territory, comprehensive training and support, and a powerful marketing program. With a low cost of ownership, easy operation and low overhead, this business can be an outstanding opportunity for the right person.
