How We Clean Hardwood Floors
We use revolutionary cleaning equipment and solutions that are tough on residues, but gentle and safe for your hardwood floors. When we’re done cleaning, we’ll remove the residues that impact the sheen and appeal of your floor so that its natural luster shines through once more.
Here’s a detailed look at what to expect from our West Central Houston hardwood floor cleaning.
Step 1
First, we’ll do a thorough inspection of the floors. We want to find any areas with heavy soiling that might require additional attention.
Step 2
We’ll then vacuum the floor. We need to remove any large debris on the surface that could act as an abrasive during the cleaning treatment.
Step 3
Next, we’ll use our pretreatment. The pretreatment solution will break down dirt and grime, but it doesn’t do that in isolation. We use the OF2000 to apply the solution, our revolutionary machine, and it will also safely scrub the boards to further break up grime.
As the machine passes over the floor, it will also extract the spent solution, which keeps the floor from getting too wet.
Step 4
After that, we’ll use our core cleaner. This product continues the work of breaking apart debris for easy clean-up. As before, we’ll be using the OF2000.
Step 5 (Optional)
Once we are done with the main stages of cleaning, you can select an additional service. Our Oxi Floor Refinisher can add a temporary urethane coating to the hardwood. This will give your floor a lovely semi-gloss finish – it’s a lovely addition!
