How We Clean Hardwood
If you’re ready to have your hardwood floor cleaned, but don’t know what to expect, keep reading. You will get a good idea of what to expect when we come to clean your hardwood floors.
Step 1
We conduct an inspection of the hardwood floors. This inspection allows us to find the areas of the floor with the heaviest concentration of dirt and oils.
Step 2
Vacuuming the boards will remove grit and debris that could become abrasive to your hardwood floor. We also want to remove anything that our cleaning solutions won’t break down.
Step 3
Pretreatment is the next step and begins with the application of an enzyme. This enzyme breaks up the thickest concentrations of dirt, oil and grime while leaving the boards underneath unharmed.
Step 4
Our core cleaning solution is placed on the floor, and we use the OF2000. The OF2000, our revolutionary cleaning machine, will agitate the surface of the floor and accelerate the cleaning.
Step 5 (Optional)
Once we have finished cleaning, we can apply a protectant. We use a semi-gloss, temporary protectant that will help keep your floor clear of grime and build-up for months.
