The man who cleaned was nice enough (tired but nice) but the process did not include any extraction of the dirt or chemicals. He sprayed on chemicals and fluffed up the surface. No vacuuming took place. The residual chemical smell has been giving me a headache for three days. After he was done, I put white towels down on the wet stairs so I could step on them and the white towels immediately sopped up gray mud. Shouldn’t the gray mud have been GONE if the carpets were actually clean? And isn’t it unhealthy to be breathing these chemicals for days? It seems like a critical step was missing—that of actually extracting the dirt.
