I had an appointment scheduled for 9/4. I received a reminder Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No one showed on the 4th. I get that it was a holiday, but why schedule, and why send me 3 reminders of the appointment for the 4th?! On top of that, I can an email on the 4th asking me to rate the quality of services received. What services? No one showed. My husband called the next day and was told that someone would call back. Did that happen? No. My husband called again on Wednesday and was informed by a very rude receptionist that we would just need to reschedule. I had the most bizarre experience getting these rugs cleaned in my home with many red flags that should have deterred me. The technician barely cleaned them in the three minutes his machine was running. My vintage rugs smelled like rotten eggs for two days until I shampood them myself. Carpet cleaning was scheduled for four-room condo for 10 a.m. Technician never called as scheduler said he would and finally arrived about 10:45 and immediately began telling me that removing dark spots/stains would be an extra charge, that spraying a protective product would be extra as would deodorizing carpet etc. and that this type of carpet (ber-ber) is really hard to clean. When I declined the upcharges and said I just want it cleaned, he said that for a "good tip" he could do "a couple things" and that "will save you some money." Between the upcharge pitches and the mention of a tip before he ever started working, I was appalled. His "cleaning" consisted of about 10-15 minutes spraying a solution on stains and traffic patterns, and another25-30 minutes of "extraction." All the while, he's pointing out what a good job he did on certain areas and that he "tried" on other areas, but they were too worn/stained to come clean. At the end he wanted to use my vaccum cleaner to pick up fuzzles, and when I said I could handle it, he repeatedly insisted--implying a bigger tip would be forthcoming. I paid the bill, tipped him (for no reason other than to get him to leave) and he was in and out in less than an hour. I immediately took photos of some of the worst areas which remain stained and dirty. This alleged professional cleaning is a complete rip-off--over $240 for what?? 45 minutes of minimal effort and maximum b.s. Furthermore, the smell of the solution he sprayed is nauseating--anything but "OxiFresh." I know that individuals can make a difference, but "corporate" owes customers the experience described on the website, and you failed miserably in this case. KU. - South Elgin, IL - 10/27/2022
