We have been regular customers of OxiClean for a while now because of the amazing customer service and quality we received. But this experience was very disappointing. The technician was very bossy and basically told us what to do. Made it sound like he was giving us a deal. But the quality of work was subpar. He claimed that he couldn't get his equipment close to a stain that was near the wall even though we were able to get it with our own machine after he left. The tech moved very fast and seemed to just gloss over everything. He was very pushy. Didn't "ask" for things. Just told me to give them to him. Went to use our kitchen sink without first asking me. I wanted to get dishes out of the sink first. But he hovered over me. Told me to give him a cup of ice rather than asking. I'm happy to give a glass of ice if someone asks. But to be ordered was really off putting. I still gave it to him. But his manners are TERRIBLE! DH. - Barrington, IL - 07/04/2023

Below are the reasons for this score we gave. 1. Despite me mentioning several times that we were on a coupon price of $249 for 6 rooms, I don't believe the technician was aware of this or gave me that pricing. We did switch from 4 rooms + 2 staircases to 6 rooms but this should not have effected our price, correct? We did leave a message with the Owner to credit us for this overage. 2. We were not informed that there was a $25 service charge in addition to the $249 or if we were, it was not made clear. 3. We were not made clear when we recieved our quote that the staircase landings were each 2x additional charges until the technician walked through the home. It would have been nice to know this detail ahead of time. 4. When we changed the order (specifically which rooms to clean) the technician didn't requote the order correctly and quoted us a much lower price for only 4 rooms. He apparently wasn't listening when we spoke and had to requote for a 3rd time. 5. The technician was quite offensive to my wife who greeted him. He entered the home and immediately started calling out additional items we needed (i.e. deoderizor, spotting kit, etc.) and repeatedly told us all the things wrong with our carpeting, pads, etc. It was not a pleasant customer experience and we've dealt with a lot of carpet cleaners over the years. 6. The technician did not remove his shoes (like most carpet cleaning companies do) and left shoe tracks up the stairs. 7. There was one area in the family room which was still very dark (dirty?) after he cleaned it. When my wife pointed it out, he claimed it was just a heavily trafficked area but did not agree to go over it again. Overall, the cleaning was average to below average from what we've experienced with Sears over the years (they are no longer in our area) and the customer experience was not very good. The technician was awful and my carpet looks worse than before it was “ cleaned”. A total waste of $164.00 and the technician complained about everything before he even started. I have used oxi fresh before and have been satisfied but never again. I called the company to complain before he even started to clean.
