Tips & Tricks: Cranberry-Banana Bread Recipe

Categories: Oxi Fresh - Just for Fun

Even though the holidays have passed, winter isn’t over. We’ll all be dealing with the cold for a while longer, so let’s do some baking to keep warm! This recipe is for some awesome cranberry-banana bread.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup bananas (mashed)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla

Step 1
In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar.

Step 2
Mix in the eggs, vanilla and bananas.

Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking soda.

Step 4
Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and continue stirring until they are just mixed (don’t overmix the batter as that can toughen the bread).

Step 5
Add the cranberries and stir until everything is just mixed (again, don’t mix too vigorously).

Step 6
Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.

Thankfully there are plenty of ways to make gift-giving greener, and here are four tips just for you. Continue Reading post – Green Living: Eco-Friendly Gift Wrapping

Tips & Tricks: Cookie Exchange!

Categories: Oxi Fresh - Just for Fun

We all love cookies, but we don’t have the time to sit down and bake a dozen
different kinds. If we want some variety in our cookie jars, most of us have to go to the
store. That is unless you host a Cookie Exchange!

Don’t know what that is? Let’s find out from our own expert, Crystal McClain. Continue Reading post – Tips & Tricks: Cookie Exchange!
