US vs. STEAM CLEANING
Steam cleaning carpet can take 24 hours or longer to dry. This is because
steam cleaning relies on large amounts of water and chemicals to clean the carpet instead of brush agitation. When carpets are soaked with large amounts of water,
mildew can become a problem. Another problem that customers using steam cleaners process experience is the fact that dirty oils in their carpet become dirty oily water. This dirty water then soaks to the bottom of the carpet pad. Eventually these dirty oils move back to the surface, causing stains to reappear. This process is called wick back.
Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning® differentiates themselves by using the power of oxygen to clean instead of chemicals that leave a residue on the carpet. Another major difference with the Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning® system is the one-hour dry time. Our nearly dry carpet cleaning requires less water, ensuring a fast dry time and that dirt and oils don't soak down into the pad. The result is a complete carpet stain removal every time.
US vs. SPIN BONNET CLEANING
Spin bonnet cleaning is a fancy way of saying floor buffer. Floor buffers are great for cleaning tile, however when it comes to carpet they are
not able to pull dirt and oily grime out of the carpet. Instead, the dirt and oily grime get pushed down deeper into the carpet pile. Although the top third of the pile looks clean, the bottom of the carpet pile remains untouched. After this cleaning method is completed it is followed with a carpet rake. The rake pulls the carpet pile back up from being pushed down by the floor buffer.
In contrast to spin bonnet carpet cleaning, we pride ourselves on being healthy carpet cleaners. Instead of pushing down an unhealthy carpet pile full of dirt, Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning® pulls up the carpet pile and removes the dirt and grime locked within it. This produces a true deep cleaning as opposed to just a top surface cleaning.
